Sony has now delivered another blow, announcing a second price increase for PlayStation 5 units in the United States within just eight months. The Digital Edition, lacking a disc drive, will rise from $500 to $600; the standard PS5 with an optical drive climbs from $550 to $650; and the PS5 Pro jumps from $750 to a staggering $900. At the start of 2025, these models were priced at $450, $500, and $700, respectively.
